The Holiday season in Cullman, Alabama is often described as a Hallmark Christmas movie. With events scattered throughout November and December, the feel good atmosphere of Christmas is always in the air. Once again, the City of Cullman will host a modest rendition of the traditional German Christmas Market, the Cullman Christkindlmarkt.

    The 2023 dates are November 24 - December 24, 2023. Thursday - Sunday.

    With a modest beginning of only 20 or so vendors, the market will be located in the Festhalle Farmers Market & Economic Development parking lot.

    While there will be a variety of tasty treats and food, there will be a selection of traditional European Christmas market options available!

  • What can I buy at the Cullman Christkindlmarkt?

    Cullman's market will be constructed of local vendors with handmade ornaments, unique gifts, and other wonderful goodies from our crafters!

  • Will there be kid activities?

    Your children can also enjoy their time with you at the market! Be on the lookout for the 2023 schedule of events!


  • What entertainment can you expect?

    Along with shopping, food, and all things Christmas, there will also be LIVE entertainment throughout the day and nights of the market. 

  • What are some must sees while at the Christkindlmarkt?

    While you're at the market, you can also be sure to see the largest German pyramid in the United States standing at 30 feet tall! Along with our 42 foot Christmas tree and light display located at the entrance of Depot Park.
